Duga Luka–Porto Longo

Situated in Croatia, the Istrian peninsula is regarded as one of foremost touristic destinations in Europe. Istria abounds with a wealth of picturesque historical towns, scattered islands and bays all along its coast as well as with excellent food and world-renowned wines. The cuisine is based on local products and is qualified as Mediterranean, influenced through the centuries by Italian, Austrian and even Hungarian dishes. Istria’s people are what make the destination what it is, and you will find them to be very friendly, approachable and hospitable.
Porto-Longo (Duga Luka or Long Harbour) lies on the Eastern coast of the

Istrian peninsula, about 45 minutes drive from the Pula International Airport and about 2.5 hours drive from Zagreb and Trieste (Italy) airports. As a former fishing village, Duga Luka is now dotted with more new built residences where the ten or so local and newly immigrated families live. Surrounded by untouched nature and the most translucent clear blue sea it is ideal for a very relaxed and comfortable vacation in an excellent mild, Mediterranean climate. The towns of Labin and Rabac are located 2.5 and 7 km respectively from Duga Luka and will satisfy your everyday needs, amusement, activities and host all kinds of events.
